Transformers

We follow both Indian and International Standards, such as IS and IEC, to ensure compliance. Our manufacturing unit is equipped with advanced technology calibrated as per NABL Guidelines. We adhere to the Technical Guidelines of various organizations like ISO, CE, BIS, BEE, ECBC, CBIP, ANSI, REC, BSI, NES, ASTM, IEEE, EUD, DIN, NEMA, ITMA, and IEEMA.

Tanks can be constructed as a Conventional or Corrugated Type based on project requirements. Conventional Tanks consist of the Main Tank Body, Conservator, Cover, and Pressed Steel Type Radiators. Tanks are made from MS Steel Plates or Sheets with sufficient Stiffeners. Radiators made from CRCA can be Fixed or Detachable Type for heat dissipation and maintaining low oil temperature. Corrugated Tanks, also known as hermetically sealed type, are made from CRCA and MS Steels.

We use top-quality Copper and Aluminum conductors covered with thermally upgraded insulation like Nomex, DPC, TPC, and SE. This insulation has excellent mechanical strength and can withstand temperatures up to 220 °C. Winding construction options include cross-over, Hellical, Disc Type, and Continuous Disc Type. Additional cooling and insulation between Core & HV/LV Coils are supplied using Radial Spacers, Axial Spaces, Cotton Tape, Sleeves, Press Board, and Kraft Paper. Thermally upgraded insulation is vital for withstanding thermal and mechanical stresses. .

We test our Transformers for quality & performance in-house, following recommended Routine, Type, and Special tests. Our testing methods adhere to IS:1180, IS:2026, and IEC:60076 standards. We also conduct Type and Special Tests at NABL-accredited labs like CPRI, ERDA, ERTO, and NTH while offering third-party inspections on request.

We use high-grade CRGO Silicon Steel for the Core Assembly of our transformers. This material, known for low losses, includes options like MO, M3, M4, M5, and 0.23 per industry norms. Our design team ensures strict monitoring of the electrical characteristics of CRGO, resulting in superior performance and lower electrical loss.

Oil in a transformer is vital. We use fresh Electrical Grade mineral oil, tested and filtered to withstand dielectric and acidic characteristics per standards like IS:335, IEC:60296, BSI:148, and ASTM: D-1473, D-1533, ensuring superior performance.
